Description: Inspired by the preparatory drawings made in red chalk on paper by artists of the Italian Renaissance, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Boticelli, Perugino and others, this reclining figure harkens back to the Classical Greek style of art. The noble youth (a young Apollo) rests his arm on an amphora vase, gazing nobly over his right shoulder.
